Jihae Jang

I am a master’s student in sociology at Ewha Womans University and a freelance graphic designer. My research interests include material culture, identity, consumption, gender, the body and embodiment, and visual sociology with a particular focus on how meaning-making and ideology operate through material culture and visual imagery.
Prior to beginning my master’s studies in sociology, I received a BFA and a BA from Ewha Womans University, double-majoring in Fine Design and Humanities, Arts, and Media.
